Dr. David M. Benguira

Education

Graduate of the University of Paris V (France) in dental surgery , with honors, he completed a hospital certificate in oral implantology  (Paris XII University), Dr David Benguira chose to settle in Quebec in July 2002 to practice dentistry. Versatile practitioner, he practiced for six years as a general dentist complex surgical procedures, implants, endodontics, prosthodontics, cosmetic dentistry and dental restoration.

Dr. David was Benguira chief resident  and clinical teacher  in operative dentistry and periodontics at McGill University and the Montreal General Hospital between 2003 and 2004, where he oversaw dentists in training, while maintaining his private practice as a dentist.

Specialisation

In 2007, Dr. David Benguira was subsequently admitted to the highly selective program orthodontic specialty at the University of Montreal - only 4 orthodontists are trained each year in Quebec, his experience makes him a particularly attractive partner to work with your dentist in the management of complex multidisciplinary cases.

Dr Benguira holds a Masters in Science  and his research has focused on the biomechanical properties of orthodontic wires of lastest generation. His research was presented at the Congress of the Association of Orthodontists Canadian (CAD). Since 2010, He is specialist in orthodontics, recognized by the Order of Dentists of Quebec and the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, of wich he is a Fellow.

He is also an clinical orthodontist is at Ste-Justine Hospital   in Montreal, where he provides orthodontic care for medically compromised patients. He is  also involved intraining dentists and is a speaker for the dental society AO-SDRM and offers continuing education on the interactions between orthodontics and oral surgery.
